KUALA LUMPUR: Nine directors of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) decided to return all the director's fees amounting to RM394,000 for the financial year 2013 to the company.

This was sparked off by the failure to get the resolution passed initially following opposition from the minority shareholders via the show of hand at the heated AGM.

MAS chairman Tan Sri Md Nor Yusof told reporters in a press conference on Wednesday that "there were not enough show of hands."


However, the resolution along with others were then put through a secret poll at the company's AGM held at its training academy in Kelana Jaya, and the resolution was subsequently approved.

"They are returning all the director's fees for 2013 to the company," Md Nor said.
